oh damn…

looks like my login information is still working at mocoblog.com. since i was the admin/creator/sysadmin i guess no one really knows where or how (or wants to) change it. please bear with me b/c this file is gnarly and will need to do some xml editing to make it play nicely with wordpress’ browser-based import tool and my hosting provider.

i figured it was time for an upgrade. if any of my mocoblog.com readers have followed me here, i welcome you. my days at flycell are now behind me and i’m off to continue my life in new media. i figured i would start by upgrading my wordpress install. please bear with my while i work on a new theme.

i plan on using testing out the latest the wp community has developed and using this as a repository to my amar 3.0 life.

it also seems that no one at flycell is doing anything with mocoblog.com; a site which i created and grew to a PR of 4…well, now 3. i think i’ll suck in those posts here too.

back when i was a cynic i half-joked about the notion of being able to gamble directly at the atm.

and i’m the biggest sucker.

actually it isn’t so bad. i do things i enjoy doing and get paid for them: blogging, reading, web surfing, marketing. i say that now.

this is the first time i have had a boss since 1998. i can’t say that i enjoy answering to anyone but me (and God). i am not micromanaged, there is no dress code, and my opinion is respected. i get paid shit (given my experience), but am willing to eat it for now. i’m tired. i’m now addicted to coffee. i have income. i miss my couch. i miss my dog. i miss my lady.

i have come to find qualities which are both good and bad:
early to rise
routine
social interaction
coffee
focused (on work. yuck!)

i’m still tired. it’s amazing i got this out. i’ll post about work in a month and i’ll be singing a different tune.
